Likely not much of a problem. If you've ever railfanned this bit of railroad, it is in the middle of nowhere, which is why they could handle it this way.

Yup, middle of nowhere is correct. But they had a busy hazmat emergency weekend. There was a gas tanker (double trailer) rollover not to far from here on Saturday. Not too many emergency service personelle available for these type of incidents it there.

Greg:  That was my thought as well.  If there's no fire, and no leaks, it's PROBABLY safe, but unless one is an expert in such things, GET OUT OF THERE!

I saw that derailment on TV, but that was before they blew it up.

I heard that a fuel tanker overturned on the Idaho side of Lolo Pass (US 12).  Is that the one you heard about, or was there another one?

The fuel tanker I mentioned was in central Utah
