Y axis distortion on the Anycubic Photon3

Good Morning All,

I tried printing a few parts for my WM Potomac over the weekend and noticed that parts that where oriented horizontally on the build plate stretched out along the Y axis. For example, I printed the tender frame horizontally tilted up on its side. The end result was that the width across the frame (Z axis) was spot on with the drawings, but the length (y axis) was substantially longer - it was actually longer than my calipers! Because the z axis was correct, this leads me to believe that this is not a scaling issue. For kicks, I have another tender frame running as we speak, but this time it is oriented vertically. I used ChiTuBox instead of the Photon Slicer.

Anyone have any ideas? I have some photos that I can post later.

So I tried this and it changed the shape of the print space in ChiTuBox. Will that eliminate the y stretching in my prints? If so, that was easy!

As I understand this, since the X and Y axis are physically fixed in the printer (since the pixels on the LCD screen cannot move, shrink or stretch), the error must be generated upstream of the printer (slicer or the CAD program).

Those are just the setting I found to set ChiTuBox for the Photon. I have no idea if it will help, but if you had it wrong and these setting are correct, then yes it will work
