I recently received a set of Mark's dry bulk trailers. Attached is an image of my project using Mark's trailer and N Scale Addicts tractor. Stay tuned......................



I think it is a cool project. Some Spazstix paint should work real well.

Nice!  Yeah, Spazstix, Molotow Chrome, or Alclad II Chrome should give you the result you're looking for. Alsa Brush On Chrome is another one, but very expensive.

Yes! The faster you get this done, the sooner the TrainWorx ones will hit the shelves!

You are probably right there. I do like TrainWorx products but this truck/trailer build is sort of like my AC-9 bash job in that it is a challenge and I like to meet a challenge head on for completion. It is sort of the old fashion way of modeling. I probably will end up spending more $$ on this than what a TW model will cost, but plenty of fun will be provided.

Most important thing is to have fun,

PS: After looking at TW web site, I am not sure that we will ever see most of their announcements,
       especially the detail parts for tractors and trailers (due summer '18). Oh well, we can hope.

Well, the latest delay was caused by well documented closure of a large model RR factory in China. Other model manufacturers who used that factory seem to have found another Chinese companies to produce their models. I don't see why TWX would be any different. At  least I hope.  Besides, this is only about 6 month delay.  You do remember how many years modelers have waited for some BLI models, or for the Rapido Turbo Train.

My Shapeways print came in today so I can begin this project. rather than carry on in the 3D printing forum I will start a new build thread in the N&Z section.
