MRC Tech III 9500

Does anybody remember, or can easily look up, what it was about this power pack Model Railroader didn't like if, in fact that is the case? I know I have read this before and I may have even read the original review but I don't remember for sure.

I'm asking because I got one a little while ago and can't find any reason to not like it. There is nothing lacking.

What makes you think that MR did not like it?
From my years of reading all their product reviews I recall that they mostly liked the products they reviewed.  Sure, the pointed some small shortcomings, but overall the reviews were positive.

I have read their reviews for many years, too. I just know I have read in forums before, when questions about MRC packs were asked, others have answered with replies like, "The Tech II packs generally got good reviews from MR but the Tech III was trashed by them, or the like. Now, I know MR isn't going to "Trash" anything they review. I just wanted to find out what, if anything they didn't like.

Actually, if anybody knows the issue in which it was reviewed, I can try to access it myself.

I have one and have no complaints or trouble with it.

Same here. I mentioned in another thread that I have had 9-10 (maybe even more) Treble-O-Lectric locomotives all coupled together, running around the layout, for a total of over 2 amps. and the 9500 didn't even get warm.

And, the meters are very useful.
