@Lenny53 Looks like you were down in St-Jacobs, hope you had some time to visit Aberfoyle Jct?

To follow in the Waterloo Central theme, a few times each year the railroad fires up Essex Terminal No. 9, an MLW built 0-6-0. Here is No. 9 pulling an excursion they put on for the local mrr community, complete with run-pasts in the field.

Because why not...

Vermont Rail Systems Rutland to Bennington turn switches the Whitman’s Feed Mill at North Bennington on 4 October 2017. GATX #2684 began life in 1971 as a GP40 with the Baltimore and Ohio and was later rebuilt as a GP38-2. The much more modern ex FEC SD70M-2 #431 was consigned to trailing unit status.

Unfortunately the steamer was only running after dark last weekend, it will be running in daylight this weekend of course now that I'm back home.   :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Climbing up from Shockoe Bottom in Richmond, Va. Two units up front and three more in the back. That's another set of helpers waiting on their next train in the background.
