Thomas posted what I was thinking about.   On the main drawing page there's several versions of this car with various modifications.  If you combine all the drawings you get all or most of the original window placement.

So that everyone has a complete set, here is an additional page that was included in the old Des Plaines kits that featured M&R sides and ALM core kits.  Note that it shows the use of the "interior bulkhead" that is included on the M&R fret.  As it turns out, these are actually a few mils less width than the ALM car end, fit the inside surface of the end, and give perfect spacing to fit the car side to the end, and provide a channel of sorts for epoxy or other adhesive, and provide a very strong corner joint- and also aid in supporting the floor.
