RAIL N SCALE 'Big models'

Hello everyone,

For over a year we have been modeling cars and scenery products for N scale layouts that are made by using 3D printing technlogy. By this it is possible to create niche models.
Now it is time to start offering larger scaled models. Due to the price setting of 3D printing and the vast supply of models in this scale, we will limit our offers to the 'tools'.

Let's start with the road marking template.
This multifunctional template makes road markings easy. The template is designed for use with an Edding 780 paint marker. The special form prevents smudging. The template can be used on both sides which allows you making mirrored road marks too. Next to the N-scale version, the template is now available in H0 (1/87) and TT (1/120) scales too.

Here it goes to the tools section: http://railnscale.com/2015/02/16/9002-fahrbahnmarkierungsschablone/

Best regards,
Maurice

Hello,

Z-scale proofs to be a difficult one. The size of the tip of the edding pen is limiting the design. For N-scale it is just possible.
This means that the thickness of the symbols cannot be made any smaller. This means that most symbols couldn't be reduced.
Alternatively the N-scale version of the product could be used for Z-scale.

Kind regards,
Maurice

Hello,

RAILNSCALE has added H0-road paving rollers to its line-up.

With these rollers you can easily build stone paving roads. One roller is 33 mm wide and designed for standard H0-gauge 16.5 mm rail roads (2 rail DC) for making pavements between the street car rails. The other roller can be used for ordinary roads. Role DAS or Darwi Classic modelling material and print the desired road pattern in the wet clay.
The following rollers are available:

H9032 - stone paving roller (row paving)
H9033 - railroad paving roller (row paving, H0 gauge)
H9532 - SET of H9032 and H9033 rollers.

More information and instruction can be found here: http://railnscale.com/2015/05/10/h9032-h9532-walzen-h0-187/

All tools can be ordered via Shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

All our other products can be viewed on our website ( http://railnscale.com/ )

Kind regards,
Maurice

Very clever!  But wouldn't the pavers be arranged with the longer side parallel to the track?  They are probably done both ways...

Good find on the pavers John, but that bicycle wheel is all wrong:  the flange is way too deep and it doesn't have any appreciable thread area. No wonder it won't work properly.  :D

Thank you very  uch.

Meanwhile I've added pavement rollers for narrow gauge (H0m or TT) tracks.

Hallo,

Meanwhile we have added new Pavement Rollers. With our latest designs you can create nice street car railways with row pavement including borders.
The rollers are available in H0, H0m/TT, H0e/TTm/N track sizes. The pavement is intended for 1/87th scale tracks.
The rollers can be ordered both as single piece or as a set that includes an ordinary pavement roller.

Here you can find more information about our pavement rollers: http://railnscale.com/2015/06/20/tools-paving-rollers/

RAIL[rot]N[/rot]SCALE already offers Asphalt Rollers in N and Z scale. Now we have added rollers for H0 and TT layouts Bahner. With these rollers you can easily create railroad crossings or tramway streets.

More information about the asphalt rollers: http://railnscale.com/2015/06/21/tools-asphalt-rollers/

In the table below you can see our current pavement tools:

All products are 3D printed and can only be ordered via Shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/rail-n-scale

Hi,

We've expanded our popular road paving tools range with three so-called super sets. With these sets you save quite a bit compared to the individual rollers.

Available are:
H9527 - This SUPER SET contains 3 rollers: one 29 mm wide roller with row paving, a roller for 9 mm track (H0e), and one roller for 16.5 mm track (H0) with row paving with border.

H9528 - This SUPER SET contains 3 rollers: one 29 mm wide roller with row paving, a roller for 12 mm track (H0m), and one roller for 16.5 mm track (H0) with row paving with border.

H9529 - This SUPER SET contains 3 rollers: one 70 mm wide roller with herringbone bond, one 29 mm wide roller with row paving and one roller for 16.5 mm track with row paving with border.

Kind regards,
Maurice
