HO Loksound Select Analog operation?

Have a customers HO loco with a Lok Sound select in it. Sounds and works beautifully on DCC. Starting up on analog, it goes through the motor start up sounds, will set and idle nicely until you start to move, then the sounds shut off. After that, no sound until I set it back on the DCC system. This person is going to go DCC but is not ready quite yet so the easy answer is not the correct one right now?

CV50 = 2  enables analog operation.

It drives perfectly fine on analog so the decoder is working in that aspect. The sound shutting off has me baffled.

Any body ran into this before? Any solutions?

Found it......

CV13 - Analog function was set to 128 which turns on F8. F8 is the shut down function.
