The first thing that came to mind when I used Scalecoat paint stripper is how similar it smelled to Pinesol. I use 91 percent isopropyl alcohol, almost exclusively, I have the best luck keeping it and whatever it is I'm stripping at room temperature, around 70 degrees or so. I used to use a toothbrush, but now use a finger nail brush

I have a Dremel too, but it lacks variable speed, so I've never used it for stripping paint.
