New Kato Poll

Hope I'm not violating any of the rules in posting this...

Kato USA is currently researching potential new projects and we thought it would be a good opportunity to get some feedback from you, the consumer! Here's your opportunity to shape one of our potential future releases!

You can go to our web poll page on our website here:
http://www.katousa.com/webpoll.html

Please only vote once, but by all means let your friends and fellow modelers know to participate! We want to hear from as many people as possible!

If this idea is successful, we'll certainly consider expanding the scope of these polls in the future to better determine what projects are of interest to people!

This poll will run from now until May 30th, 2016. We hope you participate!

Good evening ,

I have but a few thoughts on this.
First is  :DAbsolutely YES !!!!! :D

Second  is everybody nab your May 1980 Model Railroader Special Foldout Feature!  There you have it!
3 car version and four car version.  With the four car set the observation car has a slightly different interior and window arrangement, and obviously a fourth car.

Third I would like to get greedy  Can we have the four car set????  The Peoria Rocket?  Please?
Shamelessly groveling and begging.

Seriously though I really do look forward to the possibility of a hometown train from Kato.

Thank you,
Bobster

Good evening,

Not to diminish my excitement about the early Rockets but...I'm kind of surprised Kato didn't do a Wabash Blue Bird.  E8 done. Three domes done.  One dome forward observation car, 1 diner, 1 baggage lounge to do.  Newer better lettering sold.

Thank you,
Bobster

Looks like they should have let us vote on the 3 car vs. 4 car version- I'd rather have 4 cars as well.

I'm a bit surprised, I would have thought this would be the next Con-Core release, if anything.  But will be happy to see a Kato version which will probably retail at $200 rather than a Con-Cor at $350 (and the mechanical dept. will also like it better, as it is likely to share more parts with the rest of the locomotive and passenger car fleets).

Lots of little streamliners out there, this could be fun going forward.  Need to start saving now.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

:|    See my "Closet Fanze" post in N&Z Scale forum (both of these threads should be combined by the MODS. While the TA with the later Mars  Light modification would be interesting, I have always thought it was kind of ugly and relocating the nose herald ruined the original sleek Art Deco design. I'm not sure why the parallel thread thing is still going on. Usually mods jump right in and take care of this stuff.  :|
