Ah, I see Mike already responded. We'll be lucky if they come out in May, but we can always try!  :)

More importantly, when will the N-scale Daleks be hitting the shelves?

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Knowing these and the Osgoods are coming out soon, I'm wondering what the final effect of the meat reefer rollout commotion was. I remember the note that this was Rapido's first N freight car; then after the bruhaha started another comment that it could well also be their last freight car. How did that turn out?

Judging by most of the internet retailers I checked, a Swift reefer is hard to find, but many others are on sale.  Walthers page is strange, as it shows some as discontinued when sold out, and advanced reservations for others (but not any Swift schemes), as though there would be a second run.

Anyway, I would speculate that there is a market for more Swift cars, especially the red ones- just my two cents.

Hopefully, it worked well enough that Rapido is inspired to consider some other cars along the same line- which is to say, interesting cars that are a little off the beaten path (ie- NOT another version of something already produced by 3 other companies).

Actually we've made Canadian gons and bulkhead flatcars (two runs) for Prairie Shadows.

And we're working on more freight equipment with them.

So plenty more Rapido N scale to come...

Excellent.

And not only because I could use the models (most of them I can't), but because it also gives me a good reason to pay attention to what you entertaining monkeyfighters are doing. Your Youtube videos crack me up.
