Shapeways introduces ability to specify build orientation

Just announced today at noon EDT. Finally, the ability exists for designers to specify build orientation every time the model is printed.

http://www.shapeways.com/blog/archives/24904-set-3d-printing-orientation-making-your-sls-dreams-come-true.html?etId=87232501&utm_source=sw-email-9&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20160422-SO-Excellence-#1

UPDATE — After reading the announcement, I'm unsure if this for SWF products only. You'd think they would extend the option to the ProJet product line as well.

They had hinted to this a while back.  Pretty sure it's just the one material.

As the designer you may request it and inform them you are willing to wait until a slot opens on the build tray in order to have the proper orientation.  But it is not possible currently to have parts for the consumer built in a specific orientation.
