Is this better?  Here is the image with a link to Photobucket:

entered as:

Code: [Select]
[URL=http://s1324.photobucket.com/user/57miguel/media/powerplant/DSCF4026_zpsxf8xjjsv.jpg.html][IMG]http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u602/57miguel/powerplant/DSCF4026_zpsxf8xjjsv.jpg[/img][/URL]
And this is just the inline image without the link:

entered as:

Code: [Select]
[img]http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u602/57miguel/powerplant/DSCF4026_zpsxf8xjjsv.jpg[/img]
This is the simplest form: it is just the URL of the image file surrounded by the "img" tags.  The string you pasted into the browser did not have properly nested tags:

Code: [Select]
[img]http://[URL=http://s1324.photobucket.com/user/57miguel/media/powerplant/DSCF4026_zpsxf8xjjsv.jpg.html][IMG]http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u602/57miguel/powerplant/DSCF4026_zpsxf8xjjsv.jpg[/img][/URL][/img]

thanks gary.
I just don't know why my computer keeps deleting the [ on the last section.  I place a space in-between the image brackets and then try to paste.  In the meantime I have been able to paste just using the "direct" tag in photobucket and just really watch for the missing bracket
thanks

Gary:  I use the "Quick Reply" most of the time, and that's how I enter images - just type the IMG and URL tags.  They work -for me- but others have complained in the past about brackets disappearing.  Do you have any idea where they go?  For what it's worth, I use Firefox.
