Nobody here has one made from the N Scale of Nevada body shells?  I have two, but would have to dig deep to get to them.

I did this quite some time ago, noticed I never put numbers up on the number boards

Wow, I had to look it up.   MILW had four of them?  Wow.

That's just as wierd as them picking up what, five, FP45's.   I think they must have had a bad case of Santa Fe envy, just sayin'.

Looks like at least one of them had a second life as a leaser:

8503    5803         U36C 36-GRS-6         3600 05/72  38391 389,000 GE 01/82 02/85     To GE-Erie 05/89, scrapped

I'm having a hard time believing this was ever a U36C....

And if you believe the roster notes, it also ended up in Brazil!

The U boats seemed to fare well in the Pacific Northwest, or at least the locomotive department out there knew how to take care of them, Back in Milwaukee, not so much. Also, all 9 of the surviving SDL 39's ended up in Chille after the SOO and then the Wisconsin Central were done with them. Wonder if the fans turn backwards in the southern hemisphere!
