Back in the 1970's I recall that many of the Bachmann "Mini Planes" were 1:160.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

It's cool peteski, I was just being a troll.
But some one did make 1:160 WWII planes, I've got a P51 Mustang that I picked up at Hobby lobby. I'm not sure if it's exact but its close from what I am assuming.

Like I mentioned in my post, I think Model Power made some WWII fighter planes in 1:160. But since they got bought out I don't know what happened with that product line.  I only saw those in the Model Power website - I never ordered any or seen them in person.

Ugh.  Lindberg.  That steamboat model will probably make you lose you mind with fit and finish issues.

That is the fun part of the hobby: making a crappy kit into a great-looking model.  :D

^ Agreed.  Lindberg just churns up some bad memories.  LOL.

There's a 1:144 model of an early Sea King helicopter available from a Japanese manufacturer out there too.  I haven't found US decals for it yet (and hence haven't assembled it), but it is a nice kit.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
