Looks like it was two years in the making from what I can glean from the web. Anyway they're finally hitting the shelves for those interested.

Includes the Penn Central and NJ Transit! FEC FP-7's!

As always not affiliated just spreading the word.

I very reluctantly cancelled my PC F7 order.  With the M1s from BLI coming in May and my new excursion into Colorado railroading, I had to make some sacrifices.  In retrospect, I wish I'd have canceled my MTL PRR hopper 8-pack instead...not because I anticipate problems (they're sure to be beautiful and reliable) but because they're an obscure class that should not account for 35% of my 1956 hopper fleet.

Oh well.  That's the pre-order system for ya.

Yes... my Bloody Nose SP F's arrived last week. Very nice, although a grille on one was misapplied and I'll need to redo. I forgot to order decoders so I won't be able to run them at this weekend's show. :(

I very reluctantly cancelled my PC F7 order.

I didn't  :D

Seriously, lately I've been buying more PC stuff than CR stuff, and eyeing up even more.

I really think I need to go buy a new domain: PennCentral1274.com...

It's just so much fun! So much fun power that was gone or marginalized by Conrail (at least my Conrail era) was still arrive and creating weird juxtapositions (RS1s and 86' high cubes anyone?).

I've been thinking about building a PC era OneTRAK module to get it out of my system.

Agreed, to the point where if I were just now moving into a second era, it would be 1970-75 versus 1980.

Sell 4 on eBay and then that model is only 22% of your fleet. Probably still to high though.

Doing a module in a different Era or road than the main layout is a neat idea. I have two Sherman Hill NTRAK  modules I need to dust off. I'll never model that stretch of UP at home; it's too boring operationally in the modern era, but the modules are an excuse to keep my Big Boys and 40 foot PE reefers.

Got my Chuck pack of one a and b units 3 days ago.  Been so long I forgot I ordered them and Chuck has to call me for updated credit card info.

1976-80 is the perfect Conrail era because you still can run the PC equipment if you choose.

People are nostalgic for PC now, because it's 40 years after the fact.  But I lived a mile east of the West Shore Line back then and remember how horrible and broken down PC was.  I strongly prefer modeling PC equipment in the CR era than modeling PC outright.
