Just find and join your local makerspace.  They are EVERYWHERE.  Usually just a little collective of nerds and engineering getting together to share fancy equipment that no one of them could individually afford.

Great work, as always.  I love the little storefronts under the brick arches.  I reminds me of the S-bahn that goes through the former East Berlin.  Very cool.

You mentioned the Makerspace idea a while back and I checked with ours.  They do have a laser, so at some point I'll have to try it out.

It's actually directly based on the section of S-Bahn running between the new Central station and the Tiergarten station!

Awesome, we spent quite a bit of time there last fall.  There is a great stretch of similar structures to the east near Alexanderplatz with trams running in and around them.

Yeah those ones have a wider spacing and generally have nice glassy fronts and shops under.  This stretch is smaller/older and have more industrial/storage tenants.

Finally got the fascia up.  It's not perfect, but I think it gets the job done nicely.  Just got to sand the tops here and there and paint it.

Also did a huge clean-up in the train room.  I REALLY need some sort of shelves or storage in here!  Things piled up on the floor just isn't working.

Did my first terrain work ever now that I have the fascia on. Think it turned out pretty ok. Ended up darker green than I wanted, should have done more golden in my static grass mix. Just some slight hill and uneven terrain next to the track.

Nice spring flowers

I wanted a more dry grassy hill with flowers but it all turned out far more lush, I'll take it though.

Also made some retaining walls for the rest of the ramp and paved an area in bricks. Will probably be a parking area for some adjacent industry.

A couple lone trees. Don't want too much in the way of the trains or reaching the turnout.  I'll probably take the left tree out because I forgot there's going to be a bridge over head.

Love it when a layout makes that fist jump to scenery, yours is no exception. Based on your last layout will be nice to see more.

My first ever working light.  It was a big learning curve, don't laugh, but I have a single light on my layout now!!

I like that building. Oddly enough it looks like it could be something out of the UK in the 1960s-70s. I could easily see late BR steam and early diesel working the line there.
