You guy are my only hope... MT Lo-pros

I know that MT has discontinued the original 'low flange' wheels in both black and brown.  I was buying volume packs of 100, preferably in brown.

My usual collection of e-tailers, including BLW, NSS, Wig-Wag, and Walthers - all gone.  None on Ebay either.

Anybody else know of a cache somewhere or a supplier that still has any?   The new 'mid-range' flange wheels scrape, ever so slightly, on my 1860's V&T ore car kits and I really don't want to have to redesign the kit for this issue if I can help it.

How many do you need?  I've got a rather large stock on hand, a mix of new and used, that I'm looking to part with.

I also still have a cache of original-style LPWs that is expendable, new and used, black and brown.

I also have quite a few. How do I know if they are the version you are looking for?  Mine are all at least 5 years old. All unused.

The original LPWs have rounded flange edges, while the last version has the sharp-knife "pizza-cutter" edge of the large-flange wheels.

I'm confused as I was under the impression the current stock of Micro-trains wheel sets are the low profile wheels? And the old pizza cutters are now listed as high profile wheels?

http://nscalesupply.com/MTL/MTL-WheelSets.html

Maybe it's just my old tired eyes, but the MTL-003 12 002 wheel looks the same to me as the MTL-003 12 014 which are listed as discontinued?

Can someone please post side by side pictures of the old low profile wheels MTL-003 12 014 along side one of the new MTL-003 12 002 wheels?

Randy, I have a bunch of the low-pros. I put pizza cutters on all my cars. Probably over 300 axles. If you have pizza cutter, get them together & I'll trade you.

IIRC, the new standard wheel isn't low profile but a bit larger flange that was introduced with the 36" wheel.

Also, if you look at the rear wheel on the discontinued 014 set and compare it to the newer wheels, you can see the sharp edge that the most recent lo-pros had.

Randy, I have an unknown number, both black and brown. I am sure I can come up with more. They have the low profile, sharp edge, have been removed from all my MT cars and replaced with the new, rounded style wheel set. Bob

If you've got new ones (either color) in original bulk packs that I can just buy, I'm in, because these go into my kits.  Don't really want to be selling used wheels....!
