I have an Intermountain SD45-2 which has been over lubricated. It moves forward fine but in reverse it will move but then stop and spin. What can I do to get rid of the excess lube? Thanks. - Ross

Just worked on one, same problem. One of the drive rings in the base of the flywheel was cracked. Little clean up and a carefully applied drop of CA fixed it. I spent 2 1/2 hrs. working on the driveline on this loco to get it to run smoothly. Bob.

Thanks Bob. I will take a look and see if this is the issue.
