I like the Orange and gray thrown in for good mix. I would figure a small switcher like this might last longer in the older scheme than more powerful equipment. My guess is lot of MR fans grab one or two because it may 3-5 years before the orange and black scheme is done. I see this model like the GP7/9 runs!
There are hundreds of road names on these, and probably more than a thousand paint schemes. We can't do them all at once. We generally try to spread things around geographically, as well as mix large railroads with smaller ones. There will probably be a run of these in each catalog for the near future.
Thanks Paul. I think most of us totally understand your point of view and defer to your years of experience in striving to run a profitable business. These discussions of road names are just typical topics whenever new releases are announced. We have received the deco samples, and the sound decoders are due to the factory this week, so I would hope they ship to us in the next couple of weeks.
