Well, to my surprise I have found another road that had the unusual offset center door like that found on the MT model.  Seaboard Air Line had 15 cars built by ACF in 1926 that had the same unusual door placement and it may be possible to use the MT model to represent one of the SAL cars, 11 of which survived to be renumbered SCL 1980 - 1990, though whether or not any actually received SCL paint is hard to say.

I am attaching a diagram of the SAL cars as a reference.

I have updated the Seaboard Air Line and Seaboard Coast Line pages at the N-scale Varnish User's Guide website with the MT car now being listed as a possible stand-in.
