Max, maybe, but I just can't see a plastic center recovering from being yanked off this:



And one had better mark the part before removal as the gear angle to crank pin is very finiky come re-quartering time.  In my B8a build, that was the most difficult thing to get right, even without pulling off the drivers. Small gears tight spaces, etc.
