Question About Pullman 10-1-2 Sleeper

Why do they call a 10-1-2 sleeper a sleeper when there are only 2 bedroom compartments? Where will all those people sitting in the 10 rows of seats sleep?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Weren't there pull down beds over the windows (along with sleeping in the chairs)?

10 open sections-one drawing room-2 compartments: Each of the 10 sections seated two during the day and slept two during the night (the passenger in the forward facing seat got the lower birth, the passenger facing backwards got the upper birth).  The two compartments had the identical seating/sleeping arrangements as the sections, but were enclosed for privacy (private toilet out in the open of the room).  The drawing room had the same arrangement as a section plus an additional sofa which made into a bed and enclosed for privacy with a private toilet annex.  Thus each section could carry two passengers, each compartment two passengers, and each drawing room 3 passengers for a total of 27 passengers.
