Intermountain Boxcar Roof Dimensions Needed

Hello,

I need the roof dimensions for the N scale Intermountain 40ft 12 panel boxcar. Does anyone have one handy? The overall outside dimensions as well as the interior lip (where it fits against the inside walls) would be very much appreciated. I am trying to revitalize my Milwaukee Road RB beer car project that has lain dormant for too long.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Length overall to sides of roof walk supports = 3.081 in.
Width overall = .715 in., over inside lip = .655 in.

Thanks Bryan! Could I bother you for the inside lip length?

I just realized that they use a couple of different styles on the 12 panel car. Just to be clear, this is the roof I need.

2.908",  I took that too but didn't think it would be useful as it does not make contact with the end as I recall.

Ah, OK...back to the parts to measure that roof.

Diagonal Panel roof

Overall length = 3.075", lip = 2.884" (which is probably of still little consequence.)
Overall width  = .7125", lip = .655"
