Anyone have an ORER between Jan 67' and Jan '69?

I'm looking for when the GHMX reporting marks were new.  It's sometime between the above dates.  They're under North American Car Corp.  It should have a black star next to the road numbers to denote a new number.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

I have January 1969. I will take a look for you.

Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Jason,

Are you looking for the 50 car series GHMX 3600-3649? No star. Send me a pm with your email and I will send you the pdfs of the page and the related notes.

Best wishes, Dave

Hi Dave, thanks but I have the Jan '69.

It will be in one of the editions from April (wasn't it quarterly?) '67 and Nov  '68.

Okay, I finally found the site that had when reporting marks were added and removed.  It looks like July '68 is when it was added which puts it out of my time period.

If anyone can confirm, that would be great.

Jason,

Glad you found the info. I should have read your request more clearly to realize that January 1969 is not between the dates. I have an excuse, I was only 4 at the time! Can you tell us more about this project at some time?

Best wishes, Dave

This question in particular was brought on by this auction.

GMHX reefer

I had never seen those reporting marks before much less on a Hormel reefer, and I hadn't seen a 50' reefer converted(?) to mechanical refrigeration.  Up until now I've only seen some 40' PCX Armour reefers with the Thermo-king units.  This car doesn't appear to fit my time line, but I think I have some pictures of 40'er that do.

Jason,

Wow. Very cool car! Why don't  more people don't the 1960s to early 70s? Some much variety.
