How to remove decals??

I have a new brass passenger car that has poorly applied decals that I would like to remove. Any ideas to remove them while preserving the paint? The does not appear to be any overspray or seal coat over the decals.
Thanks,
Doug.

Water and a Q-tip may work. If it doesn't some of the lighter decal solutions might work. Micro-Set for example. Scrubbing with Micro-Sol has a good chance of scrubbing the paint off.

I've had sucess with Solvaset.Apply it to the decal a couple times and let it set wet.Apply one more time then while decal is still wet scrub with Q-tip.Depending on the decal it may take several tries to suceed.

Try a piece of tape. They aren't usually on there very snug.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!
Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."
