Maybe just a hair:

Still a pretty intense kitbash!

Russ,
I'm no diesel guy, and this looks like a really nice model, but I see something, so I had to ask.
Is that large gap ahead of the front truck correct?  It looks almost like the body extends a little too far
over the front truck.

Apart from the longer wheel base the AC has (vs. the DC mechanism used), I think the whole mech may be sitting a bit towards the rear.

The mechanism is not set back. The shorter wheelbase of the DC mechanism accounts for the extra distance (notice where the front jacking pad falls in relation to the hood details in the above proto-photo vs. the photo of the same angle on the model). This was a compromise I was willing to live with. The only other option would have been to "scale-down" the long hood and related details. I may add the sanding hose to fill the space in a little better.

I was actually looking at the rear jacking pad which is supposed to center on the front of the cab/battery box.  Yours doesn't, it's set further back on the cab.

Just looked like something that could contribute to the larger gap at the front.

Interesting. Going to have to scrap the whole thing now. ;)

Actually, I think I may be able to spin the frame around, changing the truck position...

...nope. While it would work with some mods to the frame so the shell would seat properly, doing so transfers the gap from the front to the back. Not worth the fuss....I can live with the way it is anyway.
