...and a well-written, highly descriptive, and thoroughly instructive article.  Nice work, M.C.!

Thanks guys.
And thanks very much to all the Railwire A$$hats who take the time to give feedback and quality criticism: definitely raises the bar!
Thanks also to David K Smith: not only for his fab NZT Products (backsaver groundthrow is great and the D-2 Tractor gets the lion's share of the comments at shows--now I have to stand around and listen to all these old farts' D-2 stories!!) but also for his integrity and dedication--lots of "life" stuff going on now but DKS' continual quality work and his commitment to share his finger-, mind-, and heart-work continues to inspire and keep this young'un in the hobby.

And if anyone wants to run some trains and have some fun with the Silicon Valley Free-moN, pop on down to the Great Train Expo Show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds November 23 and 24 (weekend before Thanksgiving).

We should have a big long quality layout there, with many other layouts of various scales (from Z to G!) in attendence.

Cheers, Asshats!  :ashat:
