My first Heritage Unit!  Leading northbound train 55A, just passed Winton Place and off the Vine Street overpass.  Luck had it that I was driving between offices . . . timing is everything.
At this rate I'll have them all by 2032

That's a great catch and a very nice picture.  Gotta love it when the rail gods cooperate.  To date, I've seen three of twenty: the Central of Georgia, the Illinois Terminal, and the Penn Central units.

I'm not keeping track, not being an NS fan, but several have gone through Prichard, WV.  I can remember that NKP, the Virginian, CofG, the original Norfolk Southern, and one dark reddish one seen at night.  The last few days the N&W unit has been switching the Kenova area, including the CSX interchange Thursday and the Big Sandy chemical plants Wednesday.

Personally. I think they should bring the Virginian's scheme back.  It's much easier to see in the WV woods than black.

I've also seen BNSF, UP, and CP units, mostly on stack trains, near Prichard.  No CN or KCS yet, and naturally no CSX.

I've only seen the NKP (when it was with 765) and the NYC when it was here in South Jersey.

I've seen the Pennsy, Conrail, and Interstate (all while riding the steam excursion to Gallitzin).

I've seen Conrail around here, but don't know if it was a heritage unit or simply not repainted.  It was a while ago, so probably original.

I haven't seen the Pennsy, but maybe the Interstate.  I can't remember...

Make that four!  I spotted the Wabash unit yesterday afternoon, as the second locomotive on the point of a crude oil tank train that was being unloaded in Delaware City, Delaware.   The empty train must be making good time.  It's already gone back up to the Northeast Corridor; down to Perryville, Maryland; up the Port Road to Enola; and out the Middle Division beyond Altoona, Pennsylvania today, according to the Heritage Units website.
