Bad form == me messing with Chris. I think he took that for what it was worth. We interact outside of this forum frequently - I think he knows I have the utmost respect for him (and I even think he's kinna a cool dude).  :ashat:

I enjoy the flexibility DCC provides, I can run DC or DCC - if the chip is removed then you lose that flexibility. It's really that simple.

As Dave V. alluded to it's nice to run multiple trains (begin assumption) and not worry about matching switches to their location on the layout or having to worry about that (end assumption). I run at train shows, so DCC is preferred and it's also where a majority of my engines are seen/played with. It's a lot of fun to make sure you aren't having accidents with other engineers. My 6 year old is wholly enabled by DCC when he runs on the big layout. There is no way he could run out there with so many people with the setup we have and he or someone trying to manage block switches.
