That's an Atlas FGE insulated boxcar... with it's door removed.

This seems to be a common CSXT tool car or rail train buffer car.

At first glance, I thought the section with the 2 doors was actually a storage unit on the other side of the car and we were looking through the car to the storage unit.

It is, there's some shadows on the grey portion that don't match anything on the car.

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Let me guess... you can tell from the pixels and you've seen quite a few shops in your time.    :D

I wonder what is behind the rollup door. Some sort of hovercraft for chasing graffiti artists?  :D

Pre-fab walls to fit door openings for instant MOW use . Thats something Craig , Bob , or Shapeways could could have as an offering . There is the same shade of pink on the human door as well as below it . What throws me off the " it's real " is a lack of any visible riveting or welding . Also no new steps makes the mod only half baked . I still tend to think it's real because of the logic of the thing , and pre-painted gray .

Here it is pre-pink paint http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3087539

Google Earth had a string of similar UP cars when you went to street view around the Niles Yard in Fremont CA (09 street view).  Looked like about a dozen old PFE (ish) reefers with house doors cut into the doors.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.
