When will reservations be closed for the Atlas ore cars? And if you have some idea, when are the cars due to ship? The Atlas web site just says fourth quarter.

Thanks for any info.

Hmm... I just hope Kiz
remembers to feed me
before the fourth quarter...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Kis,

Since the item is yellow and not green, that means they are already closed, based on what I understand.

No.

Hmm... I bet Kiz never
thought of that...

Thanks. I never knew that page existed. I was going by the page at Brooklyn Locomotive Works. They show reservations are still being taken. It had me confused.

It might be that BLW has open stock not yet spoken for.
The area N scale shop ordered up a gross of each of the LS&I numbers, plus 3 dozen each of for a customer!

What Fred said.

Atlas takes reservations from dealers.

Dealers/and or sellers take reservations from us.  So, BLW has already gotten his order in, but apparently still has enough available to keep taking orders.

In addition to all the helpful (and correct) information provided above, as a general rule the order period is about one month from the announced date.  While we have closed our guaranteed order period, we do place our order for more pieces than the reservations we received, so it may be possible that we still have availability as well.

About a month before the goods arrive, we will send out a notification to the dealers and distributors letting them know what stock numbers still have availability, and follow up with an updated list when the container arrives.
