Im curious if anyone owns one of these models, Im interested in how durable they are.

More durable than the N Scale of Nevada kit.

The model is plastic.  It should hold up to normal handling.

These are no more fragile than a locomotive.

They have some delicate details like the railings around the cab, but that's no different than the handrails of a loco.



To begin with the pistons on the hydraulics were a bit stiff and care needed to be taken that they did not bend when being compressed, but once I had carefully pumped them in and out a few times, they seemed to be much better.

Very handle-able. Just treat it with care and everything will be fine.

Those are superb models, much sturdier than the old  N-scale of Nevada pewter kits.  I wouldn't give them to a 3-year-old to play with but they are very well detailed models for a train layout. They they are fully poseable.
