How many of you ordered these? I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to them. :tommann:  I saw the pre-production sample last year at Harrisburg and it looked great.

My father-in-law does European Z, but see the quality of American models coming out I'm trying to persuade him to switch!

Tom,

I kept a sample of each road name. The cylindricals are much more impressive in person. The walkways are see through with a fine mesh. Big kudos to IM on these cars. They exceeded my expectations. What really has surprised me is which road names sold out right away and which are still in stock. For instance, I would thought the Milwauikees may be around for a while since they are a very plain car. Nope, these were the fist to sell out in our store. I also thought the Saskatchewan's would fly out the door, but we still have these in stock. Go figure. They As for the NdeM, I figured these would be here fora while, and sure enough, we still have them in stock.

I can't wait for AZL's new CN and IC SD70s to come out this year. There is a long Canadian grain train in my future. :)

Rob is soooo right ,no picture can do these cars justice.I want some US cars though so it may be awhile before there are anymore on my little layout. :(

By US I mean modern day cars. :D The only thing I would do with the Milwaukee is change name and reporting marks.

Now that I think about it anybody got a sure fired way of just removing the lettering with out screwing up the paint?

Nice detail, though if you can, try to buy in person.  A large percentage have crooked end ladder assemblies.  The end and roofwalk are separate etchings, and appear to just be glued where they meet.  With no positive alignment tabs, it's easy for the Chinese to glue them on crooked.
