Trainworx 28' Drop Frame Trailers

Seeing as they haven't been discussed here yet, here's the official announcement from Trainworx, courtesy of the fine folk at Model:160

http://www.model160.com/2012/01/03/trainworx-28-drop-frame-parcel-pup-trailers-announced/

Glad to see these finally announced and with decals included.

Funny that UPS allowed Athearn to use the logo/name and not Trainworx... wonder if it all came down to dollars?

I need to get cracking on some Triple 28' flats to go with the forthcoming BLMA F89J.

Too bad about the artwork.  I'll refrain from further comments about that.  So, is the the difference between the two modern schemes just that one has road numbers that use the company name, like this:

and the other has numbers that use the logo, like this:

http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=131582

?  I'll definitely be in for a few of these.

I think the problem is that the middle scheme is going to require piecing together letters or words (united, postal, parcel, service - like Walthers or someone did).

These are great - I actually was able to get two undecs....  Sounds like custom decal time....

Lou, I'll add to the order if you are going with a company or individual for the custom UPS decals.

Cool, some trailers for the upcoming BLMA flats.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.
