First there was HO getting all the good stuff, and now it's Z. So much for linear progression... Can I just catch a break and get some N scale 60s vehicles, o what? Take a look at this Z scale 1967 Ford p/u -

I hear ya.
I'd love to see a many vehicles released for the 60's.
I've purchased quite a few through the bay, but it's not nearly enough and they're pricey too... $6.99 or so each.

Wills Models also sells a line of really nice-looking N scale cast resin vehicles for five bucks each.

I think this is an area that is lacking in N-scale across the board. It's getting better, but I am always looking for more modern vehicles in N-scale. There has been some nice tractor trailiers come out, but really lacking in the everyday car you see on the road. Or maybe I just haven't found them yet.
Those Wills Models look nice. Anyone have tips on finishing a cast resin model that has solid windows? I've always wondered how to make it look up to par. The bodies look great and would like to pick up a few.

The Z scale pick-up is by by Jim (WillModels). He's mentioned he's working on a N scale version but the wait's become considerable. He's also mentioned a list of vehicles, some from the 60s, he has planned. While Jim casts primarily in colored resin, he will cast in clear upon request.... BTW, for contemporary modelers reading this, he has a modern Int'l Durastar, beverage trailer, Ford Crown Vic and a Chevy S10 Blazer (and more); as well as some 70s and 80s autos, trucks & vans.
Nscaleworld (also on eBay) has a good choice of 60s models but its quality is not up to par, IMO.
My desire is CMW will pop a few more 60s puppies out soon and some other manufacturers might start to get bolder about the era.

He has a number of great N-scale models, though most of the vehicles wouldn't fit my modeling era (late-steam). Once I am able to go in pursuit of vehicles I am sure that I will be going after some of these

Bryan,
Isn't this the object of your desire and this thread?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-Willmodels-67-Ford-F350-w-10-Grain-Body-Kit-/170691014703?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item27bdfa302f
It's not a flatbed, but it has the chassis.
I hadn't seen this model before so thanks to DKS for posting the link to the WillModels eBay store.
Best wishes, Dave

It looks like he just added it to the store today. He hadn't mentioned on the NSVA forum that they would be ready so it's a surprise. He does really nice work, it easily rivals GHQ's quality, and his finished models look great too. Photos are available in the photo album section of the Yahoo! N Scale Vehicle Association forum, if you're interested.
I'll wait for the pick-up version though. I have two auto racks to fill, and then some, and grain bed trucks wouldn't work (though a few bed-less models would add flavor). Thanks for the heads up, Mr. Schneider.

For my two cents' worth, I keep pleading for 1930 and 1940 era vehicles in n-scale. I want the ones that Classic Mini has done in HO done in n-scale. I am still waiting.
After I read Loren Perry's article in N-SCALE on transition era vehicles I purchased several GHQ unpainted vehicles to try to capture the look of that era.

Nscaleworld's are OK. No, not the best finished cars out there, but not junk either. I have one spot on the layout where I'll need a bunch of cars that will be no closer than 2' from the viewer... They're very good at that distance.
