iPhone speedometer app

For those of you who may have an iPhone I found a nice app that will read the speed of N or HO trains. Just time between two marks of a known distance and get an instant speed readout. You can set the distance any length you want and save it as a profile for future use. Very nice little app. It does cost $2.99 though.

Anyone installed the app?

Does it only calculate distance/time = speed? That's can be done with the "rule of three" and a pocket calculator too  ???  ::)
