In retrospect, the G-26 was a bit of a risky venture, due to the relatively high unit cost and the complexity of the car.  In the end, the contractor isn't asking for anything out of line, it would just be nice if they could be a little flexible for us.

Well, the cancellation of the LRV gondola's really sucks, especially since I'd ordered 3 of them.  I'm not really interested in
boxcars, but I'd definately be in for some of the Bluford coal hoppers in Laurel Valley paint.

Hi

I am sorry to see the halt in production, I model the SP in the west, and I have 3 of these gons, the PC, the PRR and the CR and I love them, these cars represent the culmination of 40+ years of n scale modeling, body mounted couplers, fine detail, a RR specific prototype not painted in every livery of every US RR

Hope things pick up!

Sorry to hear this, as I had a PRR MoW on reserve. Any left over undecs or pieces and parts that could be sold as a "kit"?

I'm in for a PRR and an LV in the first X58 release.

...which brings up a quandary.  What to do with my MTL and Roundhouse foobie X58s?

Seems like a refund should be an option ... I won't be signing on for Laurel Vally pig packers (I was onboard for a Laurel Valley gon but I might not be onboard for a Laurel Valley box).

The G26 didn't receive the yellow ends, but some of the younger cousins did.  I don't remember which classes off hand.


Many G37 class gons got the yellow ends, as well as a handful of former Reading, EL, and LV cars.
