One could bash it a a very large straight station if the L widths are equal . Maybe converted into a mill as well .

BAck when I was considering a proto-freelanced layout, I looked really hard at those Santa Fe stations as a prototype that I could appropriate fo rmy fictional road. Don't need them now, but I like their look as well.

I've been waiting for this for a long time. Canaan is the base of operations for the Housatonic Railroad here in CT. This station will have a prominent place on my layout. I have modeled the Canaan Wye to scale and have the spot for the station ready to go.
I've held and inspected that pre-production model in the photo. It is a heavy sucker, with great detail. This should be a fun build.

It is indeed a magnificent building. I was in it many times. My heart almost broke when part of it burned some years back. Glad it is finally being restored. Wish I had a use for this.
