Here are some before & after shots of an FVM GEVO with factory handrails, and then with scale handrails added.
Handrails are made from 0.008" phosphor bronze wire, and stanchions are GMM. I used paste solder to attach the handrails to the stanchions, which works out better than wire solder or CA. Safety chain is etched by JnJ.
The only difference in these shots is the scale handrails. I think they lend an enhanced sense of mass and power, even when viewed in-person. I still have a pile of detail parts to add, including the factory-supplied parts plus some BLMA (mirrors, MU hoses, air hose, etc.). I'm thinking this also wants cut levers, scratchbuilt from wire. And weathering, of course
