Purified vs. distilled water.

So I've been building up my supplies here in CO. and I am running into a problem finding regular distilled water.  What I'm finding is called 'purified' water which says is good for all distilled need.  I'm assuming they didn't consider using it as a paint thinner.  On the bottle it says that the water could be either distilled or reverse osmosis(ed? :o).

If it did go through reverse osmosis, would that in anyway effect it as a thinner over regular distilled?  I tried looking this up but could really draw a sure conclusion.  I imagine it would be just fine, but I'd hate to start having problems airbrushing because of it.

If it went through reverse osmosis... in theory it would be better as a paint thinner as RO can remove chemicals and solvents that distilling doesn't (those that have a similar or lower boiling point than water)...

Distilled.  You want to remove all minerals, purified water just takes out chemicals and minerals that we as humans should not me ingesting.  They re-insert minerals into the water, for drinking, to help the flavor, oddly enough.

Distilled water has no minerals, and SHOULD NOT be used as drinking water!
