Nice Ed, I'm glad you finally caught up to me after I had that functionality in CS for over a year, now. ;D

Have fun adding lat and long to all your photos in the database :) :-*

Yeah, but how automated is it for you?

Check out what we can do now:
http://thecrhs.org/?q=ConrailEquipment/map

Now we just need to get all the photos tagged... all 3000+ of them.

I wish I had thought of this 6 months ago.

100% automated, do you think I am crazy?? ;D  I have a little application that displays a photo from the database that doesn't have a lat/long, alongside with the google map.  Double clicking the google map centers it and populates a textbox under the photo with that lat/long.  Pressing submit brings up the next photo.  The google map is in it's own frame so it doesn't reset when the new photo loads.  Putting a 0,0 in the textbox for lat long tells the system that lat/long doesn't apply for the particular photo.

I've been using 100% automation on some sites I have used it on. I my Emergency Management site for Carroll County I use point and click though. I found that the geoCoding sometimes did not put the markers where I wanted...and since it was on a site where the information had to be exact location specific I made it so the map was clickable on back end entry.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1
