I bought an undec from the 2nd run with front steps to bash into a N&W S1. The pin connection to the tender is HUGE! i'm not sure how I'm gonna make the tender couple closer (gotta go back to the Atlas forum and read Max's threads!). I have not tested drawbar yet as I don't have any track laid at the moment. I had to use long needle nose pliers to plug the tender in or remove it.
I did test it on some Unitrak to make sure the mofo ran. Out of the box it runs pretty slow, but with some "herky jerkiness" - I hope it's true that it will run smoother once broken in. I wish they'd charge $10 more and stop using these crappy 3 pole motors. :
As of now the slow speed performance is "adequate".
