Sorry I'm late today. This week we are in El Paso, TX, and Ciudad Juarez, MX, in March 1962, when the El Paso City Lines international trolley route was still operating. It lasted another decade.

PCC 1503 in Ciudad Juarez.

PCC's led by 1505, line up awaiting Customs and Immigration inspection and clearance. Where else could someone go through Customs on a trolley?

PCC 1512 crosses one of the two international bridges used by the line, the one from Mexico to the USA.

There will be nothing from me next week - I'll be in Louisville at the N Scale Convention.

Remember back in the early 80's when you could still find really cool stuff laying around in PA?  Conrail didn't have the money to get rid of it all, so there it was, lingering on...

This was near York, PA, back in 84 or 85.  Long since demolished.

The other treasure trove was the M&P...  Now, were the pictures below taken by my Granddad in 1935, my dad in 1955, or by me in 1985?

I also stumbled across another angle I shot of 6573 at Riverside in 91.  Glad to find these.  Remember when trespassing wasn't such a big deal?

Note the speedlettered sand hopper in the background.

More from the vaults next time...
