Conway Scenic decided to run some steam in the 42" currently sitting on the ground for a private charter. Plow extra was sent out early in the morning for a run up and back on the MEC Mountain Division to clear the line. The 573 pulled the train west to Sawyers River and the train rain steam only back east. When they were running west through Bartlett the 7470 had to kick in and help push the train up the grade, the first steam helper on the line in 55 years.
