Reactivate the Decal of the Month club?
« on: December 01, 2007, 02:45:46 PM »

I have been drooling over some of the Highball Graphic sets in HO, anyone else interested in reactivating the decal of the month club?

Top sets I would like to see in N:
Quaboag Transfer
Seaview Transportation
P&W mill gons
NHN hoppers

Anyone else in?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

I'd be in but I don't think anyones list will match up.

NYC, IC 33' hoppers
Rath, Hormel, Swift 40' reefers
ATSF (pre-68), SOO 60' flats
NP drop-bottom gondolas

I'm expecting to have to do all of these myself, along with 10+ different CGW decals, but maybe others would be interested in those above.

Dan,

He already does the NHN sets in N.
Jon

Guess I would like to see him do the Bellows Falls Creamery set.

Yes, an excellent idea!  The D&H boxcar decals worked great for me (was that one of the last group buys?).  Anyway, here are two nice sets appropriate for my 1960-ish era:

F-234 Bangor & Aroostook BC Red 40' Boxcars
F-235 Bangor & Aroostook State of Maine 40' Boxcars

I like Jason's list!

And Jason- Keith's been working with Great Decals to get the IC decals out.  He showed me an MTL hopper he lettered with the set and it looks good, so watch for it there.

Gimme WM heralds in sizes appropriate for flats, gons, hoppers and MOW and I'll be happy.
