Hi! Me again... This East-German model from Roco, called 120, was a very common model in the Eastern block during the 70´s and 80´s. They are still in use in some former East European countries.

The nickname "Taigatrommel" (djungeldrum) comes from its very noisy engine. No exhaust at all...

So think like this... A cold night i january 1972... Just outside East-Berlin... Under a bad light...  Regards Jonas  :)

You need to have a member of the East German women's shot put team pulling it along the track with her teeth.
(the weathering is really good on that.)

GE did rebuild the Taigatrommel and now they look like this...
