I know what the intention is, but that wording just seems wrong. Would pre-order or reserve not made more sense?
Do you not have to have actually released a product AND sold out before you can backorder an item? Aren't back orders typically associated with a product where supply failed to meet demand? Isn't this a case of supply failed to materialize?
