More Modern Union Pacific Steam Power ?

  Athern has announced Union Pacific FEF 2 and FEF 3 Union Pacific 4-8-4 Northern Steam Locomotives in bot the passenger Gray and freight Black,with and with out Smoke Deflectors ,as coal and oil locos. Yes of course they are HO but this bodes well for us N Scalers. I'am relatively sure after all the runs of the Challengers we will get Big Boys in N maybe late 07 more likely in 08 and then in 09 Northern's. Lets hope so anyway. It would not hurt however to e mail Athearn and put in requests. If like the HO locos the same Radio Control Wirless DC & DCC controler would be used. Sorry they are not PRR M1a 4-8-2 locos. Come on Precission Scale, where are they, when are they releasing, and yes I know some of Ya want N&W  hoppers.  Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.

in tourist scheme has a slim chance to be purchased, if it pulls well enough to drag a reasonable passenger consist.  Another run of Kato 'close counts' passenger cars would be in order also.  An assist baggage or other car would be useful too if a full consist cannot be pulled comfortably up a 1 or 2 percent grade...

I hope the gear all the drivers together on this one , if in fact they make it for N . A long time commin' round the mountain for a non brass loco that has never been retired if you ask me . How many I get depends on how many drive axles are geared .
