Just wanted to add this bit of info if anyone's interested or
didn't know (I forgot about this)

I was perusing my old, worn out 2nd DIESEL SPOTTER'S GUIDE
earlier, & found that there was also a GP30B built-similar to
a NW/SW calf or F series B unit-cabless, high nose (has the
appearance of a N&W/Southern GP30) pic on page EMD-66.
From what it says, UP were the only owners, & 40 were
built. (#700B-739B) & also, UP 727B-734B were equipped with
steam generators, & according to the text, were the
only GP30's equipped with such for passenger booster service.

Kluke, you're right-a very indentifiable engine! (sp?
who cares-it's late)

They're not "Crown Victorias"-they're known
as "Police Interceptors"
